Barrell leaks...

Greatly disappointed in this unit. It really should not even be sold. I'm not a high volume tumbler but within 5 rock batches (start to finish) the Barrell repeatedly burst open. Look elsewhere for a large tumbler.

Thumler's Tumbler AR-6

A subpar tumbler. Purchased on June 26, 2024. Took a few days to get here and began to use it a day or so later. Today I need a new lid as the center of it is nearly thread bare ($5.10 each); both shafts have the rubber nearly worn through ($7.90 for idler shaft and $17.25 for the drive shaft). Since it has only been going for a month, I will have an additional monthly cost of $30.25 plus tax and plus postage if I want to continue using it.

This tumbler looks to be very well built. If I had to do it again, I would not buy it. The barrel leaks after just the second round of tumbling. What a mess!! I have tried everything I can think of to stop the leakage including resealing the lid. I doubt this will finish one batch of rocks.

Well, technically there is only one additional spot. They make the part reversible for manufacturing. That way they cannot attach it incorrectly. So if you move the idler shaft over one notch you can tumble with the smaller sized barrel.
