Abrasive Grit Kit w/Micro Alumina - large kit

For larger tumbling needs, this kit contains 5 pounds each of 80, 220, and 600 Silicon Carbide grit, plus 1 pound of Micro Alumina polish. This kit will polish 35 to 40 pounds of stone.

4-Stage Grit Progression

Run each stage in sequence. Rinse the barrel, rocks, and all media thoroughly between stages to avoid cross-contamination.

Times are guidelines. Check progress every 1–2 days and adjust based on how your specific stones are shaping up.

Loading the Barrel

• Fill the barrel approximately 3/4 full with stones before adding grit and water.
• Add water until it just reaches the top of the stone load — do not overfill.
• Use the grit sparingly; 1 TBSP per lb For Silicon Carbide, 0.5 TBSP per lb for polish
• After the 1st stage add filler to bring the level back to 3/4 full
