12 inch Covington Vibrating Lap

The 12” Vibra Lap is designed to automatically abrade and polish slabs with minimal effort. Heavier rock slabs stay steady under their own weight while the lap pan vibrates underneath, replacing the circular motion of conventional laps. For thinner end cuts, additional weight may be required to ensure even grinding and polishing.

This machine includes a grooved aluminum pan for fast cutting and a bumper ring to protect slabs from chipping. For polishing, simply clean the grooved pan and insert the polishing pad—since only one pan is included, thorough cleaning between grinding and polishing steps is essential to prevent contamination. A single thumb screw allows quick removal of the pan for easy cleaning and grit changes.
