10 inch Covington Vibrating Lap

The 10” Vibra Lap is designed for automatic abrasion and polishing in a convenient, compact format. It’s the perfect size for jewelry makers, hobbyists, or anyone working with small glass and stone pieces. To achieve the best results, fill the pan 1/2 to 3/4 full, maximizing the plate surface for efficient grinding.

Heavier pieces will remain stable under their own weight as the lap pan vibrates beneath, while thinner end cuts may require extra weight on the back for proper grinding action. The grooved aluminum pan provides fast cutting, and a bumper ring helps protect delicate slabs from damage. For polishing, clean the pan thoroughly and insert the included polishing pad. Since only one pan is included, careful cleaning between stages is necessary to avoid grit contamination. The pan is secured with a single thumb screw for quick release and easy maintenance.
