These Nova Points will easily handle the needs of a professional gemcutter, jeweler, or hobbyist. They are designed to be used with your hand held Dremel or Foredom flex shaft equipment to help you achieve a highly polished product. They are suitable for a wide range of materials, such as stone glass. With these, the user can perform intricate carvings and detailed work with ease. do these need to be used with a lubricant
These are diamond points so they should at least be used with water. You should never run anything diamond dry, the diamond will heat up and essentially burn off quickly.

When I use these sometimes I get a haze or what looks like rub marks or smudges. I use them with water but not sure if I’m overheating. It is very apparent on obsidians but is on most of my pieces of all varieties. What am I doing wrong or what can I do to improve the results? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
One of the factors here could be your succession of grits. Are you getting the scratches out from the grinding stage?

Are these coated or more like sinister bits with diamonds buried in the matrix
They are resin-bonded. So more like sintered, but instead of metal it is resin.
