These wheels do a great job at removing material from the multitude of rocks that I smooth and polish (from fluorite to agate). I use them to pre-shape and remove imperfections from the stones before going for a ride in the tumbler.

Pro Tip: These will last longer if you keep them cool, only use moderate pressure, and don't go crazy with the RPMs. Slow and steady wins this race!

This is my go-to tool. I have tried many different brands, from Amazon to Harbor Freight, and these from Kingsley North far exceed the others in performance, and longevity. They are slightly more expensive, but deliver superior results! They are definitely worth the price!
