This is a pad that would need to be glued (or you could get one with PSA backing) to a polishing head that would thread into that spot.

Yes, if you search "Rubber pads" or "Rubber Disc" the listings for those should come up. Any of those listings should work for under the leather.

Depends on the stone. A good all-around surface would be roughened or suede.
