The Covington Deluxe Tumbler features a unique 3-way tumbling action that quickly tumbles material. A Covington exclusive, the hexagonal barrel aids in abrasion by:
1.) Tumbling in the bottom corner of the barrel with criss-cross and side-to-side action.
2.) Forcing the pieces to change position six times per revolution.
3.) Moving a portion of the pieces gently up and down while rotating.
The slanted barrel allows easy access for checking progress. This unit is ideal for tumbling gold and silver castings, glass, and gemstones. The tumbler comes complete with instructions and product guarantee. Measures 21" L x 9" W x 12" H.

A worthless tumbler, wish I would have not purchased it.

The Covington Deluxe Tumbler Model 250 is the not a tumbler to buy if you expect to get any results with agate, jasper, or obsidian. Besides having to check the tumbler every day to make sure the batch is not a clump, having to listen to the machine make a high pitch squeaking sound I have not been able to find. I had a barrel break around the rim where the drive neural nut ate the rim and rubber of the barrel. If Covington would trade this machine with all 5 barrels for one Roll-N-Tumbler Gem Tumbler Double Gal. I would pay shipping costs. Tom Corrigan
