The DETAILS section of this product has this statement "Do not use between different grinding or polishing stages." I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that statement. Do you mean do not wash and use the same pellets for different grits? If so, why not? Can you please explain?

Basically do not use pellets you have used in 80 in 220. So keep them exclusive for one grit to prevent contamination.
