Is the water applied to the belt after the item you're sanding or before? We sand sensitive items that would be adversely affected if they're not cooled as the sanding takes place.

There is a valve that drips water onto the belt. We recommend using this water while using the belts for silicon carbide, for diamond belts it is required to use the water to cool while using it.
