For first time use only, the instructions say to plug in my kiln and leave it for a total of 1 hour (to cure the cement and burn off oils). Am I setting the kiln at a temperature or JUST plugging it in? Thank you for your help.
Yes, this would be at temperature. This is up to you but medium temp will work.
