This stack-able disc protector is must for keeping your diamond and polishing discs protected. It will fit 6 inch and 8 inch discs with a 1/2 inch arbor hole. It doesn't fit discs with 1/4-20 screw on the back.

What is the maximum depth of the protector? I have some Zinc polishing laps that are almost a 1/2 inch thick.
The wall depth is 0.57 inches. Anything less than that should fit without issue.
