Eastwind Abrasive A high concentration of cerium oxide in a resin bonded belt mounted over a layer of sponge foam 1/4ö thick on a hard plastic Hub. Cerium Oxide must be used wet. The best coolant is water. A flood of water is better than a mist as this will prevent the belt from burning and damaging your work piece. Cerium Oxide works better at a slower speed. If you can slow down your machine, it is best to use between 1000-2000 sfpm. If the polishing action slows down which may happen you can dress the belt wheels with a dressing stick. All wheels have a 1ö bore and are supplied with bushing and can be used with 3/4ö, 5/8ö or 1/2ö arbor shafts. Maximum RPM is 2,000. Available in two sizes.
