Nice saw, but with some big flaws
Review by
Overall this saw actually does the job well. The autofeed works and the crossfeed moves smoothly. Its two main flaws are the vise and the lack of ability to align the blade.

The problem with the vise is easy to demonstrate but hard to explain. Bottom line is that when fully tightened there can still be zero pressure on the rock! This happens because tightening the knob causes the jaw to lean over, wedging it into the ways. So it stops moving forward even though you continue to tighten the knob. This is a maddening problem that can only be solved using wood wedges.

The adjustment for blade alignment is very, very cumbersome and is easily lost during use. The provided means of aligning involves varying the “squeeze” on a fiber pad, and then hoping the fiber doesn’t compress or expand during use.
