Description Ameritool Diamond Sanding 6 inch Discs
Rapid removal of grinding marks, scratches, high spots on gemstones. A resin bonded diamond to a flexible surface with a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. Color coded for easy identification of diamond grit, all discs must be used wet. The discs have a high concentration of diamond for longer life.

Are sanding discs removable from the back plates or do you need a new plate for each new disc
Once they are used up, yes, they are removable. You'd want to use heat and then a solvent to clean the residue up.
