Description TUBE CUTTING JIG
This handy jig for cutting tubes or rods up to 1/8 inch diameter may be hand held or secured in a regular bench vise. The thumb lever secures the tube and the groove in one side of the head assures a straight cut every time. Made of tool steel, the handle is PVC coated. 5-1/2 inches (140mm).

There must have been a part that kept the thumb lever in place no longer have it. The local hardware store sold me a little pin that keeps it in place temporarily but will not stay in on its own. It can't be too long or it would block the saw.I hope you have a suggestion to solve this problem
