Diamond Pacific rugged slab saws are designed for heavy duty slabbing and quartering of rock chunks smaller saws cannot handle. Diamond Pacific has blended together the best features of all three to produce the new TR series line of slab saws.

The wood faced jaws of the TR-24 open extra wide and adjust using a high leverage, vise compression crank wheel. V-grooved, ball bearing guide rollers glide the vise carriage smoothly on precision ground, steel V-ways attached to heavy steel channels. A positive slide-setting non-slip action positions the vise. An automatic safety switch with length adjustment and an on-off, industrial rated, manual starter switch to complete the precision maintained carriage assembly. The rigid, cast aluminum vise and housing are mounted in a heavy gauge steel box of 3/16in. steel plate with sloping bottom and easy clean out drain. A sturdy lightweight hood with a plexiglass window permits ways viewing of all saw operations. Belts and external moving parts are safety shut-off switch when the hood is raised.

All these features, and more, combine to give you a better saw. The powerglide hydraulic feed system is a standard on the 18in. or 24in. saws. Powerglide cuts faster than any screw feed system, cutting agate at about 3 square inches per minute and onyx at about 10 square inches per minute. Stones of other hardnesses fall between these figures. Multi-stage filter and recirculation system moves large volumes of clean oil over the cutting surface to keep it cool and lubricated. It consists of a holding tank with multiple setting chambers, submersible pump, and wash hose. The TR-24's arbor shaft is 1in. diameter in a one piece, cast aluminum arbor housing with sealed ball bearings. Heavy duty tank of 3/16in. steel plate, heavy steel legs on casters allow moving of saw. Leveling screws on each leg. Blade not included in saw price. Choice of blade depends on your application.
