This material is a vein Jasper from the Red River, China. Has colors of Grey. Tan with a red running through-out. Some other colors are sometimes present, like blues, greens, and yellows. Takes a great polish, cut and polish windows to show best pattern. Size of rough from 1 to 10 pound chunks. Sold by the pound.

The good parts are gorgeous

The stone is naturally going to have fracture. Stabilizing with cya glue and some heat and you can cut come beautiful cabs. Was every piece of it perfect all the way through? No however I think it's nice stuff.

Brittle when slabbed

Purchased a few pounds of this, slabbed it so I could tumble it as I don't have a cab machine. It half falls apart as another review mentioned. The pieces that stay together though do look rather nice! Wish I could leave a picture in my review to show others. You do lose a lot of the material though when cutting and tumbling, as it will crumble to an extent.
