14" Slab Saw w/ Power Feed

The 14" Covington Slab Saw is built for everyday use while still being light enough to move when needed. It features a 1/2 HP motor, a sawmill-style carriage that glides on steel ways, and a 4" cross feed that adjusts 1/16" per turn for uniform slabbing. The rigid grip vise uses a steel jaw tongue that contacts the full length of the vise to help keep the jaw square and prevent binding.

This model has a 6" cutting opening and includes a bookend-style vise that tightens securely while offering a quick-return, no-bind release. The end grips have a hardwood facing. The saw requires approximately 4-1/2 gallons of oil, with about 1/4" of oil covering the blade during use.

Units are shipped in two boxes, and motors ship separately. The motor weighs 28 lbs. The saw uses a 14" x .051 core / .075 rim Covington diamond blade. This item ships truck freight on a pallet from Idaho. Lead time of 8 to 10 weeks. Idaho state sales tax applies to all drop shipments within Idaho.
