Our hard wire shear is the perfect cutter for hard wire up to 0.50mm (24 gauge) or soft wire up to 2mm (12 gauge). When cutting hard "music" wire, this shear type action cutter will not nick or dull like ordinary cutters. Each end of the wire is cut relatively square, making it easier to rejoin when soldering.
