The perfect tool for all cutters who want to replace only the diamond portion of their laps, easy to apply to backing plates. All diamond top plates come with pressure sensitive (PSA) backing, just peel off backing and apply to your own backing plate. All discs have standard ^1/2" arbor hole.

Are these essentially the same thing as the different colored Ameritool sanding discs set?

Yes, except with the Ameritool they balance the backing plate.

about how many usages can i expect from a disc
