Does is stop pumping by closing water valve on cabbing machine ?
The pump will stay on. But no water should come out of the valve on the machine. It is important to not over-tighten the valves. You can damage the needle which will cause them to leak. You could put the pump on a surge protector and use the on-off switch...

how tall is the pump?
How can I set up this pump to take the place of the overhead water system on my 6" Kingsley North cab machine? I'm tired of having to constantly fill up the small water reservoir.
If your tubing is blue in color then all you would need to a straight barb fitting (we could include one if you make a note at checkout). If your tubing is clear then we would need a reducing bushing.

Will this tubing fit the slant 8" sander water intake? I'm surprised this wasn't included with the water pump for the price of the sander.
The slant cabber has internal tubing from the integrated reservoir. It might work how do you plan to connect it.
