No, veritical only. SKU: 1-0923 is a little bigger, but in a Horizontal position.
If you need the machine complete with base and motor, search stock number 1-0926. Some people already have motors or other plans for their machine and do not always need a motor, which is why this is available. Sorry for any confusion.
1/3 hp would work for this size. They dont explicitly state this in the manual. However, you will want a 1725 rpm motor
No, Covington generally sends a silicon carbide belt with the machine, not a diamond belt. Diamond belts for this machine alone generally cost around $93.
