Description 65T Heavy Duty Commercial Tumbler
The Diamond Pacific heavy-duty tumbler is based on the original Highland Park design well known for its efficiency and long life. This rotary tumbler is ideal for tumble finishing large loads of stone and for light deburring, burnishing, peening, cleaning and finishing metal parts.
Any material, when properly cushioned, can be tumbled with little fear of chipping or breaking. The barrel for the 65T is one piece, molded polypropylene with a neoprene lid gasket. The double pulley drive on the barrel rollers eliminates barrel slippage. Roller shafts are polyurethane covered. Rollers are mounted on heavy duty bronze bearings. Roller bearing barrel guides keep barrels aligned.
Unit includes 1/3 HP motor with three wire cord and switch. Motors are mounted inside the base.

It works, especially if you wanna roll big rocks. Without adding some tweaks it leaks bad and is a mess. There's a small ring lip that goes around the top right before opening. If you get some rubber/sheet cut a circle and even out the top to the lip and cut holes for the screws. Has to be flat all the way across not perfect but clean and flat.if you add that it works fine. I tumble rocks 10-15 lbs all the time. I gave it 3 stars just cause for $ you shouldn't have to add anything. The top just need leveled out no lips otherwise it will LEAK.

Yes, a regular 3 prong with the ground at 110v. In order for the tumbler to work properly is must be filled 3/4 - 2/3 full. If you underfill it, you won't get the proper tumbling action. If you don't have enough rock, consider getting non-abrasive ceramic...
This is difficult to answer in terms on days/months. Coarse grit will wear components faster. Our recommendation is to not use coarser than you need. Like 120/220 grit.
You are correct to always fill the barrel 3/4 full of rock regardless of the weight. Diamond Pacific estimates the weight capacity as 90 lb. Thi is just a guideline. Always go by volume.
