Its distinctive double-action design makes the lap plate oscillate while the work-piece rotates, increasing surface speed, distributing abrasive evenly, and promoting a flatter, more uniform finish.

The tempered aluminum lap plate features a criss-cross groove pattern that lets abrasive circulate freely and break down to finer sizes. Once your surface is flat and satin-smooth, switch to the opposite side with the cemented felt pad and your polishing compound to achieve a mirror-like finish.
