So , the only difference between this saw and the 10" glass saw is the side feed ? Either can be used to slab rocks under 3 1/2 " ? Same blade, mineral oil use ? Also, I got this message of Black Friday sale BUT, I don't see the sale

The blade on the glass saw is much different than the 1-0169 & 1-0016 models. An email with the Black Friday link has been sent to your email.

what is the cutting deck made of plastic or metal? Is it water cooled or oil?

The cutting table is made of metal, we strongly recommend oil but it could be used with water as long as you use some type of additive that would inhibit rust and aid to cooling better than water alone can.

What is the cutting oil capacity?

1 gallon would be enough to fill the saw initially. The manufacturer doesn't specify, but they do state the following in their manual: "Fill slowly until the blade runs wet with a fine spray on the table at the cutting edge"
