As long as you have the appropriate size and quantity of filler you could tumble a little smaller than fist size. It is important to emphasize that if you just add a bunch or one large rock(s) not much will happen. The rock(s) need to be tumbling over each other. This is where the filler comes into play. The filler could be Ceramic media or smaller rocks. We'd recommend you have a good understanding of tumbling before attempting to tumble larger rocks.

~ 3x2 inches would be the largest size. So the way to accomplish this would be to fill the remainder of the volume (up to 2/3 - 3/4 full) with smaller rocks or media. This will ensure the large rock is tumbled properly.

20 tablespoons for 80 and 220 grit. 24 tablespoons for 600 grit. 8 tablespoons of polish.

This comes with 1 - 12 lb barrel.

There is enough room to use 1 or 2 - 6 lb barrels at one time on this unit. Or just 1 - 12 lb barrel. Search for SKU: 1-0602 for the 6 lb barrel.
