The 20 inch VI-BRO-LAP, part number 620-41-108415, is designed by Diamond Pacific to efficiently grind and polish flat surfaces on materials like geode halves, agate, and petrified wood. The product boasts a double-action mechanism: as the lap plate oscillates, the work-piece rotates, facilitating faster grinding and an even distribution of abrasives. Its tempered aluminum lap plate features a criss-cross groove pattern, enabling abrasive particles to flow and circulate, ensuring consistent grinding down to minute sizes.

Once a flat and smooth satin finish is achieved on the work-piece, users can leverage the reverse side of the lap plate, which comes with a cemented polishing pad. This pad, when paired with a selected polishing compound, delivers a refined mirror-like finish. The 20 inch VI-BRO-LAP ensures stability with its fabricated steel frame and aircraft-strength cable for fine leveling, ensuring equal work-piece distribution across the lap plate.
