I’m really liking mine so far. I have 4 other brands and this machine is the mist well thought out and sturdy. The ingenious “Wrench” to snug the twist nuts in is great. It takes the best features of the mid sized Lortones and bigger Thumbler and combines tham into one nicely built, quiet and cool running machine at a very affordable price.

This thing is built like a tank. Love the black powder coat finish. Has all of the features of the Tumblers model B, and all the upgrades they should of put into theirs from the beginning. To include the pillow block ball bearings instead of the plastic bushings. The really nice plastic nuts instead of the cheap wing nuts. It also turns the drum at the perfect speed of 20 rpm. Then this one is almost a $100 cheaper. I'm thinking about buying a second one as I love it so much. Kingsley North shipped it same day too!

The capacity listed for tumblers is for identification only. With rock tumblers, you always want to go by barrel fill level. You want to keep it around 2/3 to 3/4 full at all times. This means on your 3rd and final step you will have to add filler like...

Check the product attachment tab on this page.

With the proper filler, you could polish a rock the size of an apple. The load weight is going to vary. It is better to go by volume. e.g. barrel 3/4 full.
