There is a center column. Under the right fill level with a range of filler, a 2.0-inch to 2.5-inch piece could be processed.

It is fairly noisy, but most vibratory tumblers are. This has a little thinner bowl and lid so it does tend to be a little bit louder than most. I would recommend putting it in either a basement, garage or room furthest from your sitting area.

No, this is a plastic bowl. The only rubber bowled vibrating tumbler is the Lot O.

yes, you can use water to make a slurry.

The TV-5 alone comes with 1 bowl. The TV-5 with the kit comes with two bowls.
