Description BOTSWANA AGATE ROUGH

Small cabbing or tumbling material from Botswana. This material is a great cabbing material, many pieces will cut a full cabochon. Or it will tumble into a beautiful stone with exposed banding. Expect a grey base with white bands throughout for the majority of the pieces. However, not all pieces will contain banding.

Size characteristics: Generally 1" to 1.5" in length, width can vary as well but is generally 0.75" to 1", approximately 10-15 pieces per pound. Batches will sometimes have larger pieces than described above (leave a note if that doesn't work for you).
Sold by the Pound
Occasionally you will find broken or open pieces.

These Botswana Agates are beautiful, tumbled or not. The banding is stunning, and the colors will not disappoint. After tumbling and showing these agates to a few people, they thought I was some sort of wizard (not the novice I actually am). If you are remotely on the fence, don't be. I am back for a larger quantity to tumble some more.

I don’t tumble, but I ordered 5 pounds of the Botswana because I wanted to own an agate. I don’t even know what I was expecting but what I got was a box full of beautiful banded agates with a wide variety of colors! They were much bigger than I expected. Broken pieces? Just one tiny dime-sized chip. I pulled them out a handful at a time and fell in love with each one. I licked a few then started wiping with water and omg! I’m sure I spent 15 minutes or more with each one. It took me all day to get through the box, then I repeated the next day. I felt like someone handpicked each one. I started thinking, “are these even real?” They are that good. I will definitely be ordering again! Thank you for my beautiful agates!❤️
